This virtual tour was constructed for introductory level physical geography students. The purpose of the site is to expose the reader to glacial features as well as the general setting of southeast Alaska. Images give the viewer a better picture of what the text is trying to impart.

In addition to the text and images, the reader may choose to do an accompanying exercise if they have access to the required map. This will give the learner some map reading skills and better introduce them to the area. The tour can be conducted entirely without the exercise, if desired.

While I have tried to be accurate in how I portray this region, this was the first time I've been to the Juneau area and I may have some facts wrong. I would greatly appreciate the correction of any errors I may have made. Thank you,
